Monark comes out on February 22nd for PlayStation 4/5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. MONARK delivers the sound of the king of analog monosynths. It looks like a complete mess for those who enjoy the style, but at least Monark's aesthetic is more than enough to differentiate it from most JRPGs I've seen lately. People's egos take possession of their bodies and you are one of the few unaffected. The demo will allow you to play through the games.

The story itself, at least in my head, is based on the “let's wait for the final version”. Fans looking forward to Monark’s February 22 release can now get an early taste of the game via a demo that just went live today.
Within this enigmatic realm, you must learn to harness your Authority of Vanity and conjure a battalion of Fiends, whose power comes from. In order to save your friends, you enter the Otherworld, a Daemon-filled dimension beyond the real world. You can also control an "army" of monsters and take them into battle and there's a whole customization system behind that system. Your world is plunged into madness when the mysterious and deadly Mist surrounds Shin Mikado Academy.

While the final release will be playable on PC, specific mention of a PC demo was not made. That is, placement is even more important than using hexagons or squares. The Monark demo, which launched today, can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop. Unlike most games in the genre, Monark uses a free movement system. Publisher FuRyu and developer Lancarse will release a demo for Monark for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on October 8 in Japan, the companies announced.
